Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a Graphic Designer to work alongside a diverse team of planners and engineers, on community development and resilience projects. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated team player to provide graphic design, layout, proposal and project materials support to the team.

The graphic designer is a visual expert supporting our urban planning and design team in South Florida with a strong focus on layout and data visualization. Experience in the AE field preferred with primary work involving project branding and marketing, layouts for reports and plans, website development, proposal assistance, and other collateral development in support of a wide range of projects and design team marketing initiatives. Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign), web-based interfaces, and Microsoft Office required. Experience in SketchUp, Revit, Rhino or other 3-d visualization software ideal.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Format Fact Sheets and Briefing Materials
• Develop project summaries, infographics, logos and proposal materials.
• Provide graphic support to create flyers, posters, presentations, and modification of existing artwork
• Lead formatting efforts in InDesign for proposals, project reports and planning studies.
• Develop and maintain project website pages by generate analytics.
• Prepare 3D Urban design models for projects ranging from building massing studies to detailed streetscape and building illustrations.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Software experience with Adobe's Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat
• Experience with SketchUp, Rhino, 3DViz, Lumion, Enscape is desired.
• Proficient with Microsoft's Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Strong communication and writing skills, including proofreading skills and typing accuracy

Education and Experience

• Degree or advanced training in Graphic Design.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
