Job Description

ForeFlight is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and creative graphic designer to join our marketing team who is equally comfortable working in print and digital to support a variety of advertising, event, sales, and content marketing activities.
This position will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing assets including, but not limited to, print and digital brochures, print and digital advertisements, event materials such as exhibit graphics and signage, email graphics, sales support materials such as white papers and proposals, slide deck presentations, web page graphics, simple animations and video graphics, and social media content. The ideal candidate has the creative vision, talent, and resourcefulness to translate marketing and business objectives into pixel-perfect concepts for a wide range of projects and campaigns calling for both print and digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across the marketing team, and broader company, to layout, design, and produce all of the various content assets mentioned above.
  • Support and work with the senior designer to execute design requests.
  • Develop expertise with ForeFlight's marketing brand style guidelines and protect said guidelines when producing materials.
  • Engage with iOS and Web App UX design teams to ensure strong visual vocabulary standards are consistently applied across all company products, materials, and graphics.


Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years agency, freelance, and/or in-house experience in both print and digital graphic design. Marketing experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree associated with Design, Communication, or Marketing is a plus. Quality of work is much more important.
  • Ability to translate a business objective into a purposeful design.
  • Ability and willingness to balance new creative thinking within established boundaries and brand guidelines.
  • Expert-level skill with design tools so time and effort can be focused on content: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are a must.
  • Experience with additional design and video editing tools such as Figma, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
  • Basic understanding and competency in HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • High standards, acute attention to detail, and a strong foundation in design skills and principals is a must.
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and resourcefully.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, and manage competing priorities and overlapping deadlines, with a commitment to communication.
  • Experience working with productivity applications such as project management tools, issue tracking tools, internal chat and communication tools is a plus.
  • Interest, experience or exposure to aviation / ForeFlight is a strong plus!
