We have an opportunity for an experienced graphic designer in our in-house team producing graphic design for our customers in the life sciences industry. The Graphic Designer creates visual text and imagery concepts to communicate ideas that captivate consumers via advertising, logos, posters, digital ads, emails, social media and website platforms. The Designer transforms complicated, statistical data into visuals and graphics, making complex ideas more accessible. The Designer creates and presents their concepts, revises artwork as needed and produces final files that are compatible with print and/or digital production specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the marketing team in creating assets for campaigns, such as presentations, announcements, webpages, brochures, handbooks, posters, special event graphics, pamphlets, data sheets, and other digital material as needed
• Support sales enablement by creating and maintaining sales documents, presentations, etc.
• Plans, conceptualizes, and designs compelling and impactful graphics while collaborating with team members and technical staff to strengthen messaging
• Possess expertise in translating facts and features of subject material into graphics concepts that best convey intended meaning.
• Help to improve processes for presenting complicated messages and data in an easy-to-digest format for a variety of audiences.
• Support the brand lead in implementing brand initiatives and assist in providing guidance to a wide variety of sources on the corporate brand and logo system, ensuring compliance with Beckman Coulter Life Sciences brand standards.
• Provide input on reproduction and printing processes through in-house resources or outside vendors if necessary.
• Acts as a resource for graphic design methods and tools, developing and implementing process improvements, tool(s) improvements, and best practices
• Shares technical expertise with others and provides guidance and support; mentors other team members in technical areas

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, and graphic design is required

Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat) and Microsoft PowerPoint; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience working with additional creative, visual, interactive, and multimedia tools a plus

Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web

Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines

• The salary range or hourly range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

• This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
