About the role:
Gartner Peer Community is a platform for the world's most influential network of business leaders to share Q&A posts, polls, and altogether interact with each other in an environment that prioritizes the discussion of key issues and critical business decisions. To meet current business needs and fuel our growth, we're seeking a Graphic Designer to turn survey data into easy-to-scan infographics, as well as support other digital design needs to grow our community. This is a unique opportunity for a systematic, creative, and motivated graphic designer to make an impact by creating infographics, social media cards, and other digital assets that our community relies on for important insights.
Our design team plays a key strategic part in evolving and championing the Gartner brand. Reporting to the Creative Services Manager, this role collaborates with other designers, editors, writers, community managers, and internal stakeholders throughout the organization.

What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree with a major graphic design, digital design, or similar major preferred
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a role as a graphic designer. Recent college grads are welcome to apply.
- Top-notch design abilities and a meticulous eye for typography, color, and layout. You have a comprehensive background in digital design principles including responsive design and an understanding of HTML/CSS (you don't have to be a coder).
- You're an expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint on a Mac platform. Some motion graphics experience required.
- Must be able to take quantifiable data and create easily digestible content (charts and infographics)
- Ability to adhere to Gartner's brand guidelines and ensure all content is consistent throughout different mediums - Figma and Wordpress experience is a plus -
- Experience with Adobe XD and Adobe AfterEffects is needed to create gifs and animated content Portfolio: A balanced selection of digital and print design samples.
- You can speak to your role in the creation of each piece, how you delivered on your client's/the project objectives and what the result was.
- You can take a high-level concept and apply it to an entire campaign.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and transition easily between multiple projects, managing them (and your time) from start to finish. You take tight deadlines in stride. You see curve balls as opportunities. People marvel at your attention to detail.
- You are comfortable providing a rationale for your work at every step in the creative process.
