Graphic Designer, Custom Research
Job Description
Mintel is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Custom Team, with focus entirely on design solutions for the Mintel Custom business across EMEA, Americas and APAC. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline oriented environment.
As a Graphic Designer in the Custom team, you will be dedicated to this division in Mintel, working on a range of design projects, including bid proposals, internal and external presentations, and project deliverables. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be an integral part of the team, working on design projects from concept to production and final execution, this will often include direct communication with clients to ensure deliverables are aligned with their requirements.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of design experience working in an agency or in-house design studio. You should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, have good attention to detail and an eye for good composition and layout.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Creating Bid Proposals: You will create eye catching and compelling bid proposals in partnership with the Custom Project Lead
- Supporting on Project Deliverables: You will be involved on custom projects from start to finish and provide design support in the form of individual assets to full scale deliverables.
- Developing Creative Assets: Creating both print and digital media assets to
- Working inline with Mintel’s brand values, conveying appropriate messaging to chosen target audiences
- Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously: You will maintain a strong organizational skills to ensure you are able to successfully balance several projects at any given time.
- Collaborating With Internal Teams: You will work cross functionally with several different stakeholders including the Custom Research teams, Account Managers and the Marketing team.
- Working Directly With Clients: You will partner closely with our clients to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with their internal design best practices
- Maintaining Graphic Archives: You will manage the database of graphics used
- Working on a Deadline: You will ensure all design requests are produced in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Working With The Brand Design Team: Collaborating with our design team to ensure Mintel Consulting deliverables are on brand.
We Are Looking for People Who Are:
- An Experienced Graphic Designer: You have experience in creative and design development, idea generation, sketching and draft layouts / storyboard preparation and are skilled in artworking with a passion for high quality design layout and well versed in typography. You should bring to the table an impressive portfolio which demonstrates creative and high quality design through a variety of projects (website or PDF)
- Tech-Savvy: You have excellent Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator). You also have good working knowledge in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Commercially-Minded: You are dedicated to quality, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work to elevate Mintel as a top insights company.
