About this role:
Episode Six is looking for a top-notch, full-time Graphic Designer with a high level of creativity and attention to detail. This is a fast-paced position and an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning company's growing design team.
In this role, day-to-day responsibilities include:
· Concepting, owning the graphics we distribute via social media
· Collaborating with marketing to create one- and two-pagers
· Supporting sales by creating and editing PowerPoint presentations and graphics
· RFP design support
· Sourcing and designing branded merchandise
The ideal candidate has:
· 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a larger/multi-location company
· A brag-worthy portfolio of both digital and traditional work that demonstrates a sophisticated knowledge of typography, photography, and illustration
· In-depth knowledge of graphic design principles, standards, and techniques across a diverse array of styles
· In-depth experience working with libraries/symbols
· Development, animation, video, and prototyping knowledge/skills are a big plus
· Exceptional file hygiene
· Ability to pitch and articulate design strategy and communicate well internally with stakeholders
· Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· The ability to self-manage to adhere to deadlines and budgets
· Savvy in understanding and developing creative work that fits with the overall brand strategy, not just a particular project or assignment
Software skills:
· Adobe Creative Suite: 2-5 years (required)
· Sketch or Figma: 2-5 Years (required)
· Work authorization (required)
· JIRA or similar collaboration software (required)
· Microsoft Office Suite (proficiency in PowerPoint a plus)
· Hubspot, Canva, Pandadoc, Wordpress (optional)
This role will be based in Austin, TX.
