Graphic Designer - Strategic Business Communications

Job Description:

The Strategic Business Communications Graphic Designer will take our growth to the next level by making sure our internal materials - both print and digital - are communicating in a compelling, clear and energetic way through graphic design. They'll work with our North America Pet Nutrition communications team to keep our visual identity on point and supercharge our communication initiatives. With creative problem-solving skills, this role will keep our NA Pet Nutrition organization engaged and on-brand. Basically, this person will be a rock star who helps us tell our story with agency level visuals - ensuring our purpose and attention to high quality is seen and felt in everything we do.

What are we looking for?

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of design experience
• Strong portfolio proving diversity of work
• Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint and design within
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office products
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders to understand their needs
• Fast paced, self-starter
• High attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree in Fine Arts with emphasis on graphic design
• 5+ years of design experience
• Experience with copywriting and proofing

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing visual solutions for a wide variety of communication projects.
• Partner with communications team to develop and maintain a visual identity and design principles for high impact communication materials.
• Expertly develop and proof agency-quality PowerPoint presentations from beginning to end for a variety of audiences. This includes the creation of charts and graphs, infographics, presentation visuals, illustrations, logos, and other materials as needed.
• Work independently with internal stakeholders to understand and support their strategic initiatives through simplified storytelling
• Ability to derive compelling story narratives from complex strategies
• Design layout and execution for email campaigns, SharePoint sites, etc.
• Create high quality print materials for initiatives and events as needed.
• Provide support for on-site events as needed.
