Founded in 1999 by former pediatrician and immunologist Avraham Kadar, M.D., in 2022, BrainPOP was acquired by KIRKBI—the family-owned holding and investment company of the LEGO® brand—in its first acquisition in digital learning.

  • We’re seeking a Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing and Brand team on a temporary basis.
  • In this role you will:
  • Ideate and translate concepts into solid design for marketing campaigns and beyond
  • Create design systems and create digital branding and marketing campaigns
  • Design and develop original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
  • Translate ideas and concepts into thoughtful and engaging solutions
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams
  • Shape deliverables across various touchpoints and channels
  • Be a champion for all creative work, helping those around us understand why what we do is invaluable
  • Contribute to positive work culture within your team and outside of it.
  • Coordinate design with copy to bring a variety of collateral to life

  • Knowledgeable of best practices for all environments of design, including websites, emails, social media, and UX/UI.

On Your Resume:


  • 3+ years of Branding/Visual Design experience
  • Experience working on 360 degree campaigns, from the planning to the execution stage
  • Experience in branding, creating design system and digital branding and marketing campaigns
  • A strong background in digital design, email, landing pages, and social media
  • Experience as in-house designer or at a marketing agency.
  • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, and Sketch
  • Experience in these tools is a big plus:
    • Jira
    • Google Suite
    • Social content experience
    • Photoshop
    • Animation Experience (for social media)
    • Miro
    • Abstract
    • HTML and Javascript

The starting salary for this role is between $60,000 - $90,000, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards. Individual compensation decisions are based on several factors, including experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect most of the candidates offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description, as posted. If so, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.

Location:

BrainPOP is a hybrid work environment, and this role will be expected to spend time weekly in-office in our New York City headquarters.
