Who are we looking for:

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Graphic Designer & User Interface (UI) Design Specialist to join our team to create and manage marketing materials such as digital and print designs in addition to user interface designs of our products, applications, and websites. We are looking for someone who has a keen eye in all in aspects of design and brings innovative ideas to the table.

To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for graphic and UI design, knowledge of graphic design styles and techniques and a great understanding creative approach to problem- solving. You will take guidance from leaders, complete graphic & UI design tasks, refine projects and drafts, and consistently generate creative ideas. You should also have experience designing for marketing campaigns and general knowledge about marketing best practices. You will ensure that the Creative Services team promotes the vision of the company through the production of on brand high-quality content. You should demonstrate a high level of proficiency as a creative using the industry standard design applications. It is expected that you will have knowledge of printing procedures, illustration, user interface design and strong verbal and written communications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building UI designs for new products, adding improvements to existing products and conducting market research for new product design ideas from team leads requirements

• Troubleshooting any design problems that may arise during the design process

• Designing new and edit existing digital and print assets, can include social media posts, infographics, office interior creative designs etc.

• Managing your design tasks from conception to delivery

• Generating fresh concepts based on SOTI’s branding standards

• Ensuring our established branding is consistent throughout various marketing projects

• Work with the creative team to grow SOTI’s capabilities for creating digital content using

  design applications

• Continuously enhance design skills, knowledge of design industry trends, and remain current

  with technological advancements within the creative industry

• Consistently drive and contribute to the overall creative acumen and growth of the creative

  team

• Must be adept at juggling multiple deadlines, time management for themselves and others

  and working independently

• Demonstrated ability to work successfully under pressure and consider revisions from internal

  stakeholders/clients with the goal of creating an effective product.

• Must be able to complete assignments with minimal supervision before set deadlines, while

  at the same time keeping the team leadership fully informed of all project developments

  from stakeholders.

• Work alongside team lead & peers to produce final designs

• Keeping assigned tasks updated via ClickUp (our project management tool)

• Collaborating and maintaining relationships with the creative team, marketing team and SOTI

• internal stakeholders to ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on- brand.

Your experience should include:

• Graphic Design Diploma or Degree

• UI Design Professional Certificate preferred but not necessary

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

• Outstanding online design portfolio with examples of both UI design, print and digital

  designs

• Demonstrated experience in UI design, with a portfolio showcasing user-centered design

  principles, user experience focus, and proficiency in relevant design tools

• Passion for creating breakthrough visual and creative campaign

• Strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and colour theory

• Expert with Figma producing prototypes and test functionality

• Expert Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator and in general Adobe Creative Cloud of

  design applications

• Knowledge and awareness of current design trends and the ability to work within brand

  guidelines

• Excellent presentation skills and willingness to lean in and receive constructive feedback

• Ability to meet deadlines and successfully collaborate within the multifunctional and

  global team
