Graphic (Mapping) Design Supervisor

The Opportunity: The Graphic Mapping Supervisor We are looking for a Team Lead of Graphic Design for our Interactive maps team! The primary function of the team includes utilizing Adobe Suites to design and manage seating charts on the website, reacting to new ticket sales by developing new seating maps and auditing the website for consistency.  

Graphic Mapping Supervisors are responsible for mentoring direct reports through coaching, training and workflow reminders. Team Leads liaise between the staff and Director and Manager on Issues that may need to be addressed at a higher level (tech, Interdepartmental, cross-departmental) as well as Investigate more complex event related updates (tour announcements, venue changes, and auditing of events). Team Leads manage general scheduling of direct reports (Including approval of timecards, time off requests, etc) and conduct formal reviews based on company standards and expectations  
 
How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:   

• Build interactive seating charts for a variety of events and venues, utilizing Adobe Suite for high conversion events 
• Evaluate selected layouts for accuracy relative to official venue charts or available industry standard 
• Observe industry trends and patterns for most recent updates 
• Ability to spot patterns, look around corners, and proposed process improvements  
• Work with a flexible workload and be able to prioritize tasks, for self and team, with understanding of impact on customer experience   
• Understanding of organizational objectives and how to lead the team to meet and exceed expectations   
• Aid in building a high performing team  

 Who we are looking for: 

• 3 years of experience working in a leadership and graphic design role 
• Proven ability to lead teams 
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop 
• Basic understanding of scripts 

• Proficient in all Microsoft Applications, particularly Microsoft Excel 
• Proficient with all internet browsers 
• Love of sports and entertainment  
• Candidate must demonstrate an impeccable attention to detail 
• Ideal candidate must be very comfortable regularly reviewing multiple sources of information to ensure consistency and accuracy 
• Candidate should enjoy working closely with a supportive team but also be able to be self-sufficient and take the lead on handling tasks with minimal follow-up and maximum accuracy 
• Candidate must be highly organized, responsible, and comfortable working with large amounts of data 
• Work with a flexible workload and be able to prioritize tasks with understanding of impact on customer experience 

 Additional Information:  

• The first 3 weeks of employment are Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 for training. Training will take place in-person and is paid.   
• Hours: 11:00am – 7:30pm  
• Days off: Wednesday and Thursday  
• Following training, Work will be Hybrid (3 days in office and 2 days remote)
