We are building a team to focus solely on power and performance for GPU architectures and designs to enable the next generation of computing. This requires proven skills in a range of engineering disciplines from architecture, hardware design, software driver design all with power and performance as the key focus. We're looking for a Power and Performance Engineer to join our team who is ready to make significant impact.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field with at least three years of post-degree related work experience. OR a Master's degree in the same filed with 3+ months of educational or industry experience. Your degree must be completed by June 2023.

Your experience will be in one or more of the following:

  • Basic understanding of general computer architecture concepts
  • Understanding of logic design/micro architecture
  • Programming with Verilog/System Verilog/C++

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Verification - UVM or similar
  • Programming / scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell scripting automation methods.
  • 3D Graphics Pipeline and GPU architecture
  • Graphics APIs e.g. OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, OpenCL
  • Rendering and Ray Tracing algorithms
  • Profiling benchmarks and games

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$88,320.00-$132,660.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
