THE OPPORTUNITY

Our mission at Marcus by Goldman Sachs is to help millions of customers help take control of their financial lives, by launching and managing successful Consumer products and experiences. We are growing our GreenSky product management team that executes on and optimizes our POS Financing experience for Consumer Lending products.

You will partner with the GreenSky Integration Product Team and key stakeholders across Business, Product, Engineering and Marketing to improve existing feature sets, identify pain points to develop new capabilities, and influence and execute on a strategic product roadmap. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define feature development, build consensus among stakeholders and partner with engineers, designers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences
• Lead and analyze quantitative and qualitative user feedback and research to inform product strategy and pipeline development
• Monitor customer listening posts, including complaints
• Research industry trends and features to develop and pitch recommendations for product roadmap
• Build trusted relationships with our design, engineering, strategy, program management and other external teams to craft and launch beautiful, easy-to-use features that solve our customers' most pressing financial problems
• Define and prioritize new features to be built, write user stories and acceptance criteria and groom stories with developers and designers
• Collaborate with other product managers, designers, and engineering to ensure cohesiveness of the overall user experience
• Articulate product features and requirements to different audiences (from development teams to program leadership)
• Stay current on consumer compliance laws and regulations, including Unfair, Deceptive or Abuse Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Truth in Lending Act (Reg Z), Reg P (Privacy), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B), and CAN-SPAM

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 - 5 years of product management experience in a fast paced, agile product development environment
• Deep customer focus and experience with consumer research and understanding and identifying customer needs
• Prior experience working with and leading cross-functional teams and working across diverse geographical locations
• Proven analytical skills and problem solving ability paired with attention to detail
• Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for projects
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities
• Aptitude for building relationships that enable smooth interactions in internal business collaborations
• Highly adaptable and flexible skillset; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent change
• Track record of supporting delivery of complex, high-quality consumer products at scale
• Strong leadership skills and passion for motivating and developing a talented team
• Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal stakeholders
• Proficient in design/development and project management applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Experience working with SA's, DevOPS, QM and other stakeholders in Technology
• Experience with Lending products, Underwriting and Credit platforms, and service-driven architecture
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator
• Experience working for a tech or FinTech company is preferred
• Bachelor's / Undergraduate Degree required, MBA preferred
