Description

In this role you will be working on electrical panel assemblies which includes mounting and assembly of electrical components, running wires between components and assembly/final testing for handheld and wireless battery monitoring systems. Skills needed include the ability to use hand tools like cordless drills and cutting equipment and following detailed written and oral work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Test and troubleshoot equipment and take corrective measures as needed.
    • Effectively communicates job requirements to employees and assists in interpreting production schedule, etc. for employees.
    • Monitors schedules and requests adjustments from supervisor as necessary.
    • Makes job assignments as necessary and within established procedures.
    • Maintains proper records and reports.
    • Communicates to Supervisors/Manager on any unusual conditions and reports problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials.
    • Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
    • Actively participates in the production of product as needed.
    • Performs all other duties as required or assigned.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities• Leads a team of employees responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and packaging according to the production schedule as well as the proper execution of tasks.• Assists in training new employees.

Skills and Abilities

  • Must have ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.
  • Check work to ensure error-free products.
  • Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and turn in to supervisor on completion of the project.
  • Maintain a neat, efficient and safe workplace.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
  • Six months or more experience working in an electronics manufacturing type position (preferred).

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer knowledge (required).

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include regular peripheral viewing; viewing length changes; close viewing with depth perception; and occasional distance viewing.
  • Specific hearing abilities required by this job include the need to perceive the spoken voice clearly and the need to hear warning signals up to 70dbs with or without assistance.
  • Specific speech abilities regularly required by this job include comprehensible speech.
