The Group Director, CX will lead the experience practice for StudioNext engagements within WD North America. We are looking for an outstanding CX leader with keen focus on building business and a demonstrated history of growing high performing teams. The ideal candidate has significant experience selling, scoping, and initiating highly complex B2B and B2C engagements through to global delivery within complex scaled Agile delivery teams. Our ideal candidate is bringing great talent onboard, leading matrixed teams, partnering closely with clients, and working across a broad range of enterprise-level environments and CX projects
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work alongside senior leaders in Business Development and Client Partnership, Talent Acquisition and Delivery to define and sell engagements and then build and lead teams across StudioNext projects in North AmericaÂ
- Establish best practices and ways of working specific to StudioNext and it highly distributed team of CX PrincipalsÂ
- Partner with CXO, Head of Experience Design, Providence Hub leadership and WONGDOODY SLT to manage the migration of engagements as they span both Experience Design Studio and StudioNext
- Work closely with Infosys sales, business and delivery leads to define how CX, UX and UI fold into iterative delivery with the onshore, offshore and near shore development teams (Largely LeSS and SAFe)Â
- Manage and grow a team of 15-20 CX Principals and ~50 UX and UI designers reporting into the (hybrid) Providence HubÂ
- Support recruitment and hiring efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition teams
- Encourage state-of-the-art techniques and thought leadership activities to stimulate professional development and inspiration within the teamÂ
- Define CX roles and responsibilities within StudioNext as we expand rapidlyÂ
- Champion the WONGDOODY Design thinking approach: Conversation to Creation (C2C) and Experience Engineering (EE) to diverse audiences consisting of clients, parent/partner organizations and employeesÂ
- Build case studies from StudioNext engagements for use in New Business activity and agencywide All Hands spotlightsÂ
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and Infosys partnersÂ
- Support relationships and delivery model with other global WONGDOODY StudiosÂ
- Participate in and support our overall Human Experience company positioningÂ
- Uphold WONGDOODY culture and values across the StudioNext practice
WHAT YOU’VE GOT:
- 15+ years of experience working at leading digital agencies in a product or service design capacityÂ
- 5+ years of experience at management level overseeing design teams in a client-side environmentÂ
- Portfolio of complex, digital experiences for global brands and at the enterprise levelÂ
- Strong understanding of modern product design including data driven experience design, iterative research repositories, governance around Design Systems Â
- Excellent communication and visual design skills: being able to explain design rationale, to align and persuade stakeholders, and to drive conversations
- Success pitching and winning new business, scoping work, and maintaining large programs of design delivery
- Absolute ease with Human Centered design and substantial experience feeding Design Thinking into large platform delivery teamsÂ
- Experience driving design with the affordances of multiple Platforms (SAP, SalesForce, HealthCloud etc.)Â
- Experience feeding design into low-code platform developmentÂ
- Experience scoping evaluative research and UX research embedded into product developmentÂ
- Experience rolling out large products from proposition through to delivery – not just across the design spectrumÂ
- Expert cross function collaboration across disciplines needed to create a brilliant product or service, such as business, technology, delivery, marketing, and content
- Rich experience integrating brand design with product and service to evolve the overarching Experience DesignÂ
