Group Product Manager, Clinical Experience

The Opportunity

At One Medical we build the consumer, operational and clinical software used by our members, clinicians and admins. This unusual level of integration and ownership allows us to develop innovative products and services that are tackling some of the most difficult problems in healthcare, and we need a Group Product Manager to lead the strategy for our Clinical Team Member Experience. 

Reporting to our Senior Director of Product Development, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clinical team members are empowered to provide the highest quality of care for our members. You will work closely with clinical leaders to ensure we build cohesive, delightful solutions that solidify ours as the best Primary Care EHR. You will also manage and support a team of product managers in delivering a seamless experience to One Medical provider colleagues. 

You’re an expert at managing complexity, able to devise solutions despite constraints, like competing stakeholder needs and compliance needs. You’ll empower your team to break large scale projects into manageable parts, develop robust implementation plans and clearly articulate your plan with stakeholders. What You'll Work On 

As a leader on the One Medical product team, you’ll shape the next generation of our proprietary, certified EHR. Specifically, you will:

• Define strategy in partnership w/ strategic, operational, regulatory and clinical teams.
• Develop a deep understanding of our member and provider experience in order to improve care delivery and efficiency.
• Manage and support a team of product managers on their career journeys
• Promote product and engineering best practices by engaging with engineering and design partners to strive for product excellence.
• Continue to improve One Medical’s culture and retention by creating a place that team members enjoy coming to work.

You’ll Need

• 4+ years managing  high-performing product management teams
• 6+ years experience building software in a highly regulated industry
• Strong preference for experience working with Electronic Health Records or clinical support and documentation tools
• Strong strategy building skills, including demonstrated ability to craft a clear product vision that balances needs of diverse stakeholders and to clearly communicate out that vision 
• Experience with complex products and prioritization that touch multiple stakeholder groups
• Experience performing user research and effectively advocating for user’s needs 
• Demonstrated skill at guiding product managers on tradeoffs and high quality decisions  
• Ability to demonstrate strong product sense and intuition, landing on thoughtful problem hypotheses and being able to lead his/her teams to the best solutions 
• Ability to use analytics and user research to drive feature and roadmap strategy 
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and promote team member development

This is a full-time role based anywhere in the United States.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $225,000. Total compensation packages may be based on factors unique to particular candidates, such skill sets, depth of experience, and work location.
