About the team/role
As Group Product Manager you will focus on bringing data sources into our product. This is a critical role in our company, as data accuracy and comprehensiveness is fundamental to our product. We are constantly looking for new ways to provide our customers with the most up-to-date and accurate information. This position will report into the VP of Product of Tessera, a Checkr company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong product background, understanding of scraping technologies, and experience managing people and working with data products.Â
What you’ll do
- Lead a team to work on development, expansion and ongoing support of varied data sources for our customers
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities for data sources that strengthen and differentiate our products
- Guide and prioritize the expansion of data sources based on multiple factors including an understanding of customer needs, company strategy, competitive landscape, technical feasibility, and nuanced tradeoffs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and operations teams to improve the end-to-end processes of getting data from sources to our customers.
- Identify opportunities and drive technology improvements that result in more accurate and reliable data for customers.
- Serve as a bridge between product and customer-facing functions to drive GTM readiness for product launches and successful product adoption
- Connect with customers and customer facing teams to understand user needs, develop insights and inform roadmap and development work
- Be a product expert and domain expert, participate in presentations and meetings with customers and partners
- Teach and mentor more junior PMs on the team on product practices and product thinking.
What you bring
- 7+ years as a PM at a B2B Enterprise and/or SaaS company
- 3+ years of People Management leading, growing, and retaining high performing Product Managers
- Proven ability to manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way
- Experience working on data products and understanding the data, legal, technical nuances of supporting complex products
- Strong technical background including comfort with data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to be fly-high and fly-low in a high performance environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with web scraping or creating taxonomy for complex data a plus

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The salary range for this role is $148,899 to $258,290.
