Job Description

As the new Group Product Manager for Mobile Apps, you will manage and grow a team of product managers responsible for our flagship iOS and Android Applications. You will be responsible for delivering the strategic vision, OKRs, and roadmap for the next evolution of our market-leading cashback mobile experience. You will report directly into our Head of Product for our Direct-to Consumer Experiences.

You won’t be alone in your endeavors. Rather, you’ll work with seasoned experts in Engineering, Marketing, Client Operations, Sales, ML, and Design. In partnership with your colleagues, you’ll transform your strategy into experiences that achieve Ibotta’s objectives. Within the app domain, your leadership will influence 4 distinct App squads including Lifecycle & Registration, Discovery, Redemption Experience, and App Infrastructure.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado or with the option of full-time remote. Candidates must live in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.

What you will be doing
  • Establish, drive, and evolve the strategic vision/mission/OKRs for Ibotta’s Mobile Apps, which is comprised of < 5 squads within your domain

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate, as well as develop and grow, a team of product managers

  • You work with up to 2 squads directly

  • Recruit and hire equally exceptional talent

  • Build strong partnerships with leaders across the company, like engineering, analytics, marketing, sales, and customer care to create seamless, cohesive shopper experiences

  • You regularly communicate with group leaders and executive stakeholders regarding overall strategic direction and upcoming opportunities for collaboration

  • You are responsible for preparing and presenting at SLT Product Roadmap Reviews

  • Embrace and uphold Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & Advocate for Savers

What we are looking for
  • 6+ years of product management experience launching successful mobile customer experiences, including 2+ years leading a highly effective product team

  • A track record of launching products and experiences on-time with high quality, measuring results, and achieving positive outcomes

  • Have the product instincts to understand what our customers REALLY want (not just what they tell us) and deliver novel solutions to exceed their expectations

  • Swift, high-quality decision making, informed by data, but not paralyzed when faced with a lack of it

  • Evidence of creating clear, transparent, inclusive, and broadly understood approaches to iterative product development that increase team effectiveness

  • Excellent communication skills across all mediums (visual, written, verbal) that shepherd stakeholders along and bolster your decisions with focus and brevity

  • An ego-free embrace of vigorous debate and conviction that it’s better to be aligned than right

  • Seasoned organizational design thinking on how to best structure a cross-functional product development group

  • A strategic lens to say no to good ideas so we can focus on the few, truly great ones
