Group Product Manager - Monetization

Course Hero is scaling! We’re seeking a Group Product Manager for Monetization to play a key role in exploring and scaling new business models. In this position, the Lead Product Manager will have the opportunity to build and manage payments platforms and UX, launch pricing tests, offers, bundles, and drive international growth, across all of our products. 

Are you as excited as we are to envision, execute, and iterate on the core product of a billion-dollar valued and profitable Pre-IPO edtech startup?  Then we want you to own the monetization by driving everything from goal-setting to roadmapping, executing, and iterating. Your pod will have outstanding engineers, designers, user researchers, and data scientists to execute your roadmap. You will be able to grow your responsibility and impact as well – employ your creativity by launching new products and optimizing existing ones.

• Own the roadmap and product initiatives for growing subscription revenue
• Design, build and lead the Monetization pod to accelerate our already-breakneck growth
• Explore new pricing and packaging strategies to drive incremental revenues for the business
• Drive user retention with churn mitigation tactics by building new voluntary and in-voluntary cancellations flows
• Collaborate with User Research, Design, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, and Analytics stakeholder to achieve our goals

• 5+ years working in product in B2C companies, ideally on content subscription, marketplace, e-commerce, or aggregator products
• 2+ years of experience directly managing, hiring, coaching, and retaining other PMs and senior product leaders
• Experience and a provable track record in substantially optimizing aspects of monetization such as pricing, payments, revenue models, bundles, offers, loyalty programs, conversion, internationalization, and other
• Successfully managed a team of engineers, designers and data scientists. You have a provable sense of user psychology, and a track-record of using these insights to improve monetization
• Extremely data-driven, but have the confidence to balance data with experience and intuition

• Experience with marketplace products, aggregators, and network effects
• Payments platform and i18n experience
• Have Launched new subscription SKUs
• Have a quantitative degree
• A passion for evolving education to help students graduate
