Group Product Manager - Platform

The Slingshot software platform is core to the company’s vision of achieving space sustainability.  The platform will serve both internal and external customers and allow them to access the wealth of data, analysis, modeling, and simulation capabilities needed to power solutions that will ensure humanity’s ongoing access to space. As the Group Product Manager you will:

• Build and lead a team of product managers and product owners
• Ensure successful roadmap development and execution through customer and stakeholder research and collaboration 
• Partner with key stakeholders across the company to understand the business dynamics and inform, deliver, and execute on the roadmap that will allow them to meet their business objectives
• Manage the Agile development processes to ensure appropriate prioritization and timely delivery of roadmap items and day to day requirements from stakeholders

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances

• 5+ years of product management experience in platform development and/or operations
• 2+ years of people management experience within product management and the ability to confidently identify, mentor, motivate, and grow talent
• Experience crafting product platform strategies based on customer, business, and internal stakeholder needs and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle
• Experience managing product platforms using Cloud-based Distributed Systems and platforms, 12 Factor Application experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects at once in accordance with operational and budgetary plans and priorities
• Ability to inspire team members, communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, and distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
• Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions to elevate the overall teams

• Scalable SaaS/PaaS platform product management experience
• GovCloud experience a plus
• Early-stage platform-centric startup experience
