Group Product Manager, Player Experience (Fantasy)

We’re looking for an experienced Product leader to join our Fantasy team. As a Group Product Manager leading the Fantasy Player Experience team you will contribute to building innovative, fun, and reliable Fantasy games for our users. You will collaborate with peers and stakeholders to drive the strategy and execution for your team. In addition, you will build, coach, and inspire a team of Product Managers to meet company objectives and reach their personal career goals.

• Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop a high performing team of product managers. Provide coaching and mentorship to foster their growth and success.
• Lead by Example: Drive requirement gathering for large projects. Play an active role in the creation of product one pagers, product requirement documentation, and product readouts.
• Strategic Planning: Translate the product vision and strategy into tactical plans. Lead and influence internal teams to execute on those plans.
• Metrics and Analytics: Define, measure, and improve key product metrics. Leverage data and analytics to drive decisions, features, strategy, and customer experience enhancements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build effective relationships - communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Gather and translate requirements, communicate plans, and ensure alignment and execution.
• Product Rollout and Release: Oversee product rollout and release plans, including testing, and last-minute decision-making. Ensure successful and timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Customer Feedback and Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze customer feedback, understand customer needs, and drive future product improvements.
• Presentations and Alignment: Present recommendations, decisions, and accompanying analysis to leadership and relevant stakeholders. Build alignment and gain buy-in for product strategies and initiatives.
• Market Analysis: Keep an eye on the competitive landscape, ensuring that Underdog is offering a differentiated player experience. Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate insights into the product roadmap and strategy.

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management working on a consumer facing mobile application.
• Prior experience as a leader, managing and developing a team of product managers. Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data, make data-driven decisions, and improve product metrics.
• Outcome-focused and embrace ownership to drive business results.
• Curious by nature, you enjoy getting into the weeds with data or speaking directly with customers.
• Strong passion for Fantasy Sports, you keep your eyes on the latest industry trends and competitive landscape.

• Experience working in Fantasy Sports, Sports Betting, or a sport adjacent industry
• Experience with experimentation and A/B testing
• SQL skills
