The Opportunity

As the head of Adobe Express SEO team, you will be accountable for deeply understanding business priorities, setting SEO strategies, and implementing those strategies with proven business impact. You have an extensive hands-on SEO experience (technical, back-linking and content) but are also able to think at strategic level. In this position, you'll work closely with web product managers, product marketing, paid/SEM teams, our content writers, and agency partners to advance a comprehensive, scalable, and impactful SEO program. Our team: We are a fast-paced group with multiple global and international collaborators. You will lead a growing team of individual contributors and managers with a substantial budget, helping to make decisions that impact our resources, timelines, web experiences and traffic goals.

What you'll Do

  • Own SEO strategy and execution across content, technical and back-linking pillars to achieve traffic targets.
  • Balance several initiatives efficiently and in parallel, and shift priorities as needed.
  • Continuously identify new SEO growth opportunities by analyzing existing content architecture, keyword constructs, and data/traffic metrics.
  • Educate business collaborators and help distill down complex SEO concepts to provide more understanding of the SEO "black box".
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure new site designs, feature launches, A/B tests align with SEO standards.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to analyze sophisticated data sets to find opportunities, forecast results, and implement strategies, as well as prepare and present executive-ready reports with insights about SEO performance.
  • Mentor a data-driven, innovative, best-in-class, and inclusive SEO team.
  • Stay current on global SEO and search landscape and emerging trends and identify tools and reports to automate processes.
What you need to succeed

  • 8+ years of SEO experience, with strong focus on content and back-linking.
  • 4+ years of proven experience managing SEO teams, including in-house and contingent staff
  • Obsessed with SEO. You know the landscape of industry tools to audit, research, and analyze search data, and how to derive valuable insights.
  • Deep expertise of technical, content and back-linking optimizations; in this role, you'll do it all, but with a focus on scale and impact.
  • Entrepreneurial- You're a hardworking and creative self-starter. You have the ability to learn quickly, adapt in a constantly evolving environment and focus on getting things done.
  • Excellent communicator- you'll be presenting across all levels and influencing several executive members to align on common goals. You can speak to technical concepts in a non-technical way.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $116,400 -- $252,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
