Group Service Representative
Job Description
Position Purpose: The Group Service Representative is responsible for providing support to Account Managers to achieve sales retention, growth and profitability goals. This position is also responsible for coordinating the internal renewal processes and servicing and maintaining current accounts, while adhering to corporate budgetary policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Assists Account Managers in the coordination and organization of renewal activities, which includes coordinating open enrollment processes and wellness activities, by collaborating with internal and external partners.• Ensures implementation of renewals by monitoring related processes, which may include preparing "Step 2" requests for open enrollment materials, reviewing new business group quote request forms, group renewal request forms and enrollment packet requests.• Checks documents for accuracy and follows up to obtain accurate and/or missing information.• May also participate in health fairs and open enrollment meetings.• Assists in the resolution of issues presented by brokers, clients and members. • May respond to phone and e-mail inquiries from internal and external customers in response to sales/service questions and/or issues.• Completes Group Sales Notifications (GSNs) input, processing and tracking, and follows up with appropriate departments to ensure internal implementation.• Prepares and processes service agreement requests for approval by Account Managers.• Tracks information and enters data into various Health Net systems.• Fills literature and marketing communication requests for new collateral through established tracking procedures.• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or General Education Development (GED). Associate's degree preferred. Minimum two years experience working in sales/service environment, preferably in managed care or health insurance. Experience with Health Net systems, products and procedures preferred
License/Certification: Valid California Life Agent license or must obtain within 45 days of hire
Pay range: $20.48 to $34.85 per hour
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The employee may be eligible for bonuses and other forms of compensation.
