Group Squad Leader, Plan Optimization

The Role

As the Group Squad Leader for the Plan Optimization Platform, you blend Financial Planning domain knowledge with technical skill making you suited to lead a set of leaders/teams delivering Fidelity's proprietary planning advice to digital and live channels. As the champion for this robust and highly scalable set of platform, you will define and champion the vision for integrated platform solutions that deliver insights enabling customers to make good financial decisions.

Success in this dynamic role is dependent on developing key partnerships to influence the strategic roadmap within the Planning and Advice Services and other Product Areas. You will work with methodology experts in Financial Solutions to build recommendations identifying planning opportunities to engage customers of all ages in improving their financial outcomes. As a key leader within our team, you will embody Fidelity's leadership principles to inspire and motivated team of dedicated professionals in support of our customers!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

The ideal candidate will be proactive and passionate about clear roles and processes across supporting teams.

• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 15+ years professional experience and strong financial services experience
• Ability to partner optimally with other leaders across organizations to mature a vision enabling focused execution within our roadmap.
• Anticipating, discovering, and prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as the voice of the clients and guide the squad
• Proven experience building a high performing organization poised to innovate and deliver a comprehensive suite of solutions against different horizons
• Defining independent business capability roadmap through collaboration with partners
• Serving and supporting your own team and a set of squads by working directly with leaders to prioritize and evolve capabilities; removing obstacles to deliver customer and business value.
• A foundational understanding and appetite to learn platform capabilities including knowledge of REST API/services technologies
• Experience deploying scalable solutions that impact millions of customers and thousands of associates across a sophisticated ecosystem.
• Leading and collaborating without formal authority, and a track record of building highly engaged teams
