Growth Analytics Data Scientist

At Realtor.com, we place data science and analytics (DSA) at the center of our strategy. In this role, you will be joining a DSA community of 100+ professionals. The growth analytics team is focused on helping our marketing drive the growth of our business through various marketing efforts on Google, Facebook, TV and other ad platforms. We are a top 1% spend VIP customer with all these partners with direct access to their client and data science teams. You will get to work alongside experts from Amazon, Google, Facebook to build out your data science/ analytics career.

What you’ll do:

• A relentless drive for automation of manual data processes. 
• Thoughtfully design metrics and dashboards that would inform insights on marketing and product metrics
• Be the analytics point of contact partnering with marketers to help make decisions on making multi-million marketing investments.
• Translate the latest insights from ad platforms to improve com marketing.
• Analyze terabytes of website and ad partner data sets with SQL and Python/R. Identify and automate strategies to drive higher returns for the business
• Communicate results to marketing managers and other data scientists

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor, Masters, or PhD in business analytics, statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, engineering, and computer science
• 1-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Analyst or similar role. Demonstrated experience in executing hands-on analytics projects.
• Technically proficient in SQL, Python/R. We expect shipped code to stand the test of time. 
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, GCP etc. 
• Able to communicate results to a non-technical audience.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in solving problems, particularly using data to help answer nebulous questions 
• Ability to formulate business problems into scoped data projects.
