About the jobReporting into the APAC Head of Channel & Alliances, this position is needed to grow our partner sourced sales pipeline via the scaled partners within Segment’s APAC partner ecosystem. You’ll be primarily tasked with contacting partners, educating them on Segment’s offerings and identifying opportunities where the partner would be willing to recommend Segment CDP to their customers. We’re looking for people who have a growth-oriented mindset and want to grow their careers within Segment & Twilio. ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll:
- Unlock partners within our scaled ecosystem by engaging and educating their key go to market resources with the goal of establishing a revenue stream for the partner based on joint wins. Â
- Research partners to determine how Twilio or Segment can fit into their GTM offerings and then execute on making outbound dials, sending personalised emails, and leveraging social selling.
- Identify and pitch go to market ideas with scaled partners to help the partner prospect into their install base of new and potential customersÂ
- Assist in the creation of partner campaigns / go to market collateral for scaled partners to leverage (aka demand in a box)
- Onboard and enable net new scaled partners across the region building on the existing partner program
- Achieve and exceed your monthly goal for generating new business opportunities to fuel the partner sales pipeline.
- Become a master of Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, and various other systems for workflow execution.
- Work in partnership with the regional sales team to create partner engagement strategies and successfully create new business opportunities
- Act as a liaison between our field sales teams and our technology platform partners for deal identification, deal processing and mapping of potential targets
- Educate, track and communicate with scaled partners on how to enable key resources on Segment solutions (technical & sales)Â

Required:
- Experience in cold outreach campaigns / calls to drive business goals
- Able to set priorities, focus on details and motivate stakeholders meet agreed-upon goals
- Are comfortable engaging with a variety of roles ranging from developers to sales to marketing
- Be adept at developing relationships at multiple levels
- Have domain expertise in the areas of customer data platforms, advertising, martech and/or SaaS applications
- Posses strong verbal and written communications skills
- Have strong problem solving skills.
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Marketing and/or SalesÂ
- Bachelor’s DegreeÂ
Desired:
- Proficiency in a local APAC language would be beneficial
- Energy and enthusiasm with a willingness for occasional travel
LocationÂ
This role will be remote, with preference to to be based in either Singapore or Australia (Sydney).
Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.
