Responsibilities
The Growth Manager responsibilities include:
- Deep understanding of the agency - our culture, services, creative philosophy, work style, etc.
- Ability to apply Gigasavvy offerings to client needs
- Ability to knowledgeably speak to our agency differentiators and to sell our personnel and our strategic approach.
- Ownership of a proactive outreach strategy, including:
- Identifying key target opportunities - contacts, companies, and markets/industries - that align with agency services
- 1:1 outreach to introduce Gigasavvy to relevant contacts
- Ongoing industry research to ensure relevant information is being shared with appropriate contacts
- Identify and attend relevant networking events to create contacts and develop local relationships
- Initial opportunity vetting:
- Prompt response and initial discovery conversations with new leads gained through website or phone calls
- Collaboration with key agency personnel to determine prospect fit and appropriate responses
- Coordination of all new business activity, ensuring prospects are moving through the pipeline and update internal CRM platform accordingly
- Develop relationships with new prospects and nurture those relationships through the pitch process and beyond
- Development of new business proposals and capabilities materials for sales purposes
- Collaborate with Account Lead on the development and review of estimates and contracts
- Collaboration with cross-departmental team members in development of new business proposals and pitches, including collaboration with project management on timing and agency resources needed to support efforts
- Collaborate with the account team on smooth transition of account and relationship handoff once the prospect becomes an active client
- Participate in and eventually lead quarterly and annual revenue planning and growth strategy
- Partner with Strategy Team and other agency stakeholders to assist and support with Agency marketing efforts.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a sales or business development role
- Agency (marketing/advertising) specific experience preferred
- Must be located in or near Southern California
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to understand and operate within agency culture, team structure, and internal processes
- Ability to think strategically about business challenges, and the ways our agency can address them
- Must be able to maintain a positive disposition in a fast-paced environment and during demanding times
- Ability to think Independently and on your feet to address questions and/or objections
- Possess a collaborative attitude to present winning strategies to prospective clients
- Evidence of an existing network of local, regional, and/or national contacts at relevant brands is preferred

Salary Range: $70 - $80,000 plus commission
