Growth Marketer Intern (September - 8 months)

Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Markham ON and is a 8 month work term commencing in a September 2024. it is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.
As a Growth Marketer you will be learning and applying skills for designing running and analyzing marketing campaigns with the aim of increasing users and engagement across several platforms. You will create blog posts email campaigns and newsletters. You’ll engage with our community comprised of millions of learners worldwide.
IBM Developer Skills Network is part of the Developer Ecosystem Group. We engage closely with all business units of IBM academic institutions and customers large and small. As part of our open source mission we work closely with various open source communities as both contributors and users. We containerize and orchestrate at scale. We apply machine learning AI and blockchain. We do cool things on mobile. We dabble in Golang Elixir and everything else that’s cool and new. We care about your passion and competence not the number of years.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Excellent communication (verbal and written);
• Experience with newsletter management systems (e.g. Mailchimp);
• Experience with Google Analytics (or similar Web analytics tool);
• An open mind and readiness to embrace new challenges;
• Passion for marketing.
• Must be eligible to work 8 months starting in September

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Familiarity with:

• • • HTML CSS and basic JavaScript;
    • Copywriting skills;
    • A/B testing;
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems can be helpful.
    • Registered in a formal co-op/internship program
