As a Growth Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, developing, negotiating, and managing partnerships with external partners, including media brands and content creators. You’ll develop new partner acquisition strategies that play a key role in our business by leveraging the reach and influence of these partnerships to drive the growth of the Underdog user base. You’ll team up with other members of the Growth Marketing team and work cross-functionally with other Marketing, Data, and Product teams to creatively brainstorm creative and efficient ways to improve our acquisition process.

What you’ll do:
  • Source, develop, and execute potential partnership opportunities with content creators and media brands that align with Underdog Fantasy's growth objectives and user acquisition goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including negotiating partnership agreements and managing ongoing partnerships
  • Work with other members of the Growth team to tackle larger and more complex deals and negotiations
  • Collaborate with various internal teams, including product, marketing, and content teams, to develop creative strategies that ensure partnerships are effectively integrated into the overall growth strategy
  • Learn the ins and outs of the product and the fantasy sports and gaming industry
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends and opportunities for partnership growth
Who you are:
  • A strong sense of organizational skills and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams both within and outside the company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship-building skills, and comfortable communicating internally and externally via messaging, emails, and calls
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Interested in asking questions, speaking up, and raising concerns when needed
  • Motivated, results-driven, and self-directing, with a passion for growth marketing and partnership development

  • Previous account management, partnership, and/or client services experience
  • An interest in sports, fantasy sports, and gaming (don’t worry, we can teach you!)
