Growth Marketing Manager, VaynerCommerce

VaynerCommerce services as a strategic partner, with an implementation arm across data science, engineering, design, financial modeling, media & creative, and merchandising for brands that want to sustainably grow their direct-to-consumer business. VaynerCommerce works across Fortune 100, Venture Capital, and Private Equity-backed consumer brands.
What You Will Do:
You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing retention marketing programs to help our clients scale their business as well as support other holistic growth initiatives. You’ll develop email communications for promotional, life-cycle, and transactional emails and work with the Growth team members to implement best practices in marketing communications and data.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities will vary depending on the accounts to which this role is staffed, but will typically include:
- Holistic Growth
- Work with Growth lead to help build growth strategies touching acquisition and retention of customers; leverage a mix of both VaynerCommerce and client talent to execute goals
- Report on performance weekly across key focus areas, including on-site performance, paid media, email/sms, direct mail, and more
- Partner with VComm and client teams to develop goals and report on progress towards designated KPIs
- Collaborate with the Paid Media and Design teams to build high-performing landing page templates and drive conversion rate performance across retention and acquisition traffic
- Provide feedback and strategies on site experience and merchandising; partner with client talent and internal VComm resources to execute tests
- Partner with growth lead and clients to provide feedback and/or engineer marketing calendars and campaigns to deploy across owned channels
- Retention Channels (Email / SMS / Direct Mail)
- Partner with growth lead and creative team to build and optimize highly relevant, targeted, and personalized email marketing programs at scale, including behavioral triggers, lifecycle series, sales promotions, customer engagement, retention, and transactional emails.
- Report on retention performance during client meetings with a focus on optimizations and strategies envisioned and deployed
- Help to set up A/B tests, methodologies, hypotheses, and more.
- Send campaign previews to stakeholders/clients and update campaigns with appropriate feedback.
- Manage day-to-day maintenance of automated flows.
- Optimize for user segmentation and content personalization by identifying user attributes, behavior, and preferences.
- Acquisition Channels (Paid Social / Paid Search)
- Collaborate with Paid Media teams to shape and oversee content calendars and performance of paid media.
- Provide insight on performance of paid media efforts from a growth lens, reporting on performance in the platforms you use (Google Analytics, Shopify)
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in developing and managing email marketing programs.
- Experience in direct-to-consumer growth, touching various parts of the conversion funnel including acquisition, retention, and on-site performance
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to meet all deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from data, make recommendations and then take action accordingly.
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and outside-of-the-box thinker looking to tie programs to measurable business results
- You’re hungry to learn, always looking for mentorship, and aren’t afraid to suggest new ideas.
- Some experience in email marketing platform(s) is desirable but not required.
- Some experience with eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify, is desirable but not required.

- Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
- Base Salary $80,000- $100,000
