Growth Marketing Manager

The Growth Marketing Manager will join ACFC’s versatile Marketing Department in a role that focuses on growing the club’s audience and reach, as well as driving revenue growth through digital marketing channels. In just our second season in the NWSL, Angel City FC looks for individuals who can own their line of work, be fearless in problem-solving and trying new things, and find joy in establishing processes. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute growth marketing plans, including email / SMS / push flows, sales, and lead-gen strategies, and subscription program optimization
• Create, manage, and maintain all outgoing email, SMS, and push marketing campaigns and calendars, including automated journeys, through Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ESP), Evri fka Venuetize (App), and Attentive (SMS)
• Setup, execute, and optimize automated and triggered campaigns targeting key audiences with personalized messaging and offers; continuously testing to improve delivery, open rates, and click through
• Collaborate with leadership and various departments to ideate marketing initiatives, strategies, and tactics
• Work with the data team to analyze customer databases to create more targeted and relevant interactions with consumers
• Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities and execute campaigns that grow the ACFC database 
• Work with internal departments to successfully execute omnichannel campaigns and digital marketing needs
• Optimize the email, SMS, and push program through continual testing of creative, copy, timing, offers, targeting, and more
• Coordinate internal and external partners in order to launch campaigns in a timely and consistent manner
• Run weekly/monthly reporting on all email, SMS, and push marketing activities
• Maintain pulse on email best practices, technologies, trends, and CAN-SPAM laws

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in email / SMS marketing and/or web and app
• Experience working within a CRM / ESP platform, proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for email, and familiarity with responsive design
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A positive attitude, ability to work with a team to drive projects to completion, and inclination for solving problems
• Excellent teammate with the ability to be proactive, collaborative, and creative
• Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and flourish in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal, social, and written communication skills
• Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and possibly holidays

Compensation

In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $70-$75k.
