Responsible for creating and analyzing marketing forecast reports. Work closely with the BU Marketing and Finance teams. Provide general administrative support with the creation of analytics, financial reports, budget tracking and monthly/quarterly presentations.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
- Manage the overall team budget, including assisting with the submission of invoices, tracking and reconciling departmental expenditures, and communicating variances between forecast and actual expenditures to Finance
- Maintain updates in Marketing Project Management software
- Work closely with the BU Marketing Team to forecast marketing spend and measure marketing's impact on sales
- Provide general administrative support with the creation of analytics, forecast reports, financial tracking, monthly presentations, and quarterly business reviews with Upper Management
The minimum qualifications & requirements for this position include:
- Associates Degree in Accounting, Marketing or Finance preferred
- 2+ years accounting and/or financial experience preferred
- Strong analytical background.
- Insightful, a critical thinker, creative, and proactive.
- High degree of proficiency with Excel required
- Experience in Microsoft word and PowerPoint. Experience in Tableau or Allocadia, a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail in an environment that requires extensive multi-tasking and multiple deadlines
