GSIL/IFMC Journeyman System Administrator
Job Description
Seeking a Journeyman Systems Administrator to assist Software/Hardware-in-the-Loop (S/HWIL) system and component level tests supporting Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal.

Education:
Bachelor of Science from accredited university with 5+ years related experience.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Sec+) and compute environment certification.
Desired Experience:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Job Responsibilities:
- Administer classified networks in support of S/HWIL Air and Missile Defense testing.
- Troubleshooting of networked systems.
- Monitoring systems and maintain cybersecurity compliance
- Apply patches, STIGs and other maintenance/security tasks.
- Install/update software/systems/networks
- End user support
- Create, maintain, and improve documentation such as SOP's, inventory lists, and network diagrams.
- Problem solving of various hardware and software issues
- Desire to learn an expand knowledge and capabilities.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science from accredited university with 5+ years related experience.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Sec+) and compute environment certification.
Desired Experience:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, Cisco
- Familiarity with scripting bash, python, powershell
- Familiarity with automation, ansible, pdq
- Familiarity with virtualization, Vmware, Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and git
