GSIL/IFMC Junior System Administrator

Seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to assist Software/Hardware-in-the-Loop (S/HWIL) system and component level tests supporting Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in administering classified networks in support of S/HWIL air and missile defense testing.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting of networked systems.
• Assist in monitoring systems and maintaining cybersecurity compliance
• Apply patches, STIGs and other maintenance/security tasks.
• Install/update software/systems/networks
• End user support
• Create, maintain, and improve documentation such as SOP's, inventory lists, and network diagrams.
• Problem solving of various hardware and software issues
• Desire to learn an expand knowledge and capabilities.

Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor of Science from an ABET accredited university,DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Sec+) and compute environment certification.

Desired Experience:

• Familiarity withMicrosoft Windows, Red Hat Linux
• Familiarity with scripting bash, python, PowerShell
• 2 years relevant experience

Clearance:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Minimal
