Autodesk's Safety & Security Department is responsible for assessing, planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive programs to protect Autodesk's worldwide facilities, personnel, and intellectual property, as well as ensure compliance with governmental laws and regulations related to environmental, health, safety, and security.
Position Overview
Autodesk is looking for an Analyst to be assigned to the Autodesk Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) with experience in security operations in corporate security, law enforcement or emergency management. The Analyst should be able to work in a fast-paced, operational environment and will be responsible for monitoring numerous security related platforms to include but not limited to: CCTV, alarms, access management, global threat monitoring and emergency notification, dispatch, and visitor access management systems. The GSOC Analyst should have experience in security operations. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated safety and security professional with a demonstrated ability to work independently and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The Analyst will work closely with numerous Autodesk business units and our employees that span over 100 offices in 35 countries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor global safety and security concerns that affect our offices or employees using a global threat management platform
- Coordinate with internal and external security, emergency services law enforcement personnel when required
- Provide timely and accurate reporting and updates to ongoing incidents
- Communicate globally with employees using the emergency notification system
- Expertise using CCTV, visitor, and access management systems
- Follow escalation procedures to both internal and external security and safety teams, as well as to support partners within the company
- Use critical thinking and multi-tasking techniques to ensure a comprehensive security posture
- Provide daily activity reports to the shift lead and/or GSOC Assistant Manager
- Provides badge and access management assistance to employees across the company portfolio
- Assist employees' safety and security concerns
- As needed, be prepared to work on special assignments, or other assigned post adjustments for the GSOC's success
- At times, provide additional services for special events that are outside the normal schedule assigned
- Perform other assignments, duties or tasks as assigned by the Autodesk Global Safety and Security Team
Minimum Qualifications
- Two years' experience in corporate global security operations centers, 911 dispatch or other similar experience required
- Experience tracking and documenting incidents or events in a security or dispatch setting
- Understanding and experience within security industry standards, technologies, and systems (access control, video surveillance, etc.)
- Strong computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments
- Flexibility and adaptability in adjusting to quickly evolving situations
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong can-do attitude with a focused customer service experience mindset
