The Job

The team is looking for a GTM Compensation Manager to bridge the gap between finance and Go to Market teams. You’d partner with the Own sales, finance, legal and operations teams on policy and processes to properly design and administer the various compensation plans that support the go to market departments. This position also supports the go to market organization on important incentive driven events, such as Sales Club, and acts as the central point to set and communicate compensation policy.

Your Day-to-Day Role
  • Partner with the Go to Market department leads to design, administer and measure compensation plans, while also managing the commissions budgets for such plans, and reporting on achievement for assigned compensation targets.
  • Establish and lead a cross functional committee to enable a process to review and decide upon compensation compliance measures and outcomes.
  • Partner with finance and commissions team to develop monthly trending and performance metrics that predict results and impacts in established commissionable budget targets.
  • Maintain an agreed upon Service Level Agreement (SLA) on compensation related issues and resolutions.
  • Assist in the annual Go to Market planning process, especially in the area of establishing quota targets and the resulting impacts to commissions budgeting.
  • Develop, communicate and enable the field sales teams on incentive or bonus related programs, to include incentive events like sales club.
  • Partner with HR to establish standardized compensation plans that align to agreed positions and leveling, while also ensuring a competitive OTE range versus market benchmarks
Your Work Experience
  • 5 years minimum working experience in compensation, sales planning or sales operations.
  • 5-7 years of experience working with or supporting field sales, finance, legal and operations teams
  • Experience using Salesforce, Tableau and Commissions systems (Exactly, Callidus)
  • Experience with billing/revenue cycle management technology, process improvement or workflow implementations a plus
  • Strong ability to use data to understand workflows and assess operational effectiveness
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • SaaS experience a plus
Important Details

This is a full-time position. The position can be remote however the candidate will be required to travel and work out of our San Diego office frequently to maximize interaction with business.

The base salary hiring range for this position is $98,000 to $122,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be dependent upon various factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, scope of the role, and location.
