THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Hair & Make Up Artist, you will play a key role in creating the looks of the models for our ecommerce photoshoots. You will work hand-in-hand with Photographers and Stylists on set to ensure our images are not just high-quality, but also consistently aligned with the Lounge by Zalando's visual aesthetic, captivating our customers every time.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Craft hair and make up styles on models to create unified and inspiring looks based on the guidelines and briefs provided.

• Oversee models during photoshoots, maintain the looks with touch ups or perform makeovers of hair and make up as needed.

• Collaborate daily with the creative production team, including art directors, stylists and photographers.

• Maintain a clean and organised workplace, ensuring all products and tools are stored appropriately. 

• Engage in the continuous evolution of the Lounge visual language, bringing innovation and fresh ideas.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You've completed training as a Hair & Make Up Artist and have a solid professional background in the ecommerce, commercial, or editorial studio environment.

• You have proficiency in a variety of hair and make up techniques, coupled with experience handling diverse skin and hair types — all showcased in a dynamic portfolio.

• You have the ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.

• You possess a keen sense of style and aesthetics, stay up-to-date on current beauty and fashion trends, as well as industry best practices to ensure your work always meets high standards.

• You have a focused and structured way of working and exceptional attention to detail.

• You have strong communication and organisational skills.
