Hardware and Connectivity Product Manager

Tulip is seeking an experienced PM to lead our Edge team. The Edge team owns the end to end experience for Tulip’s custom hardware, connectors, the Tulip software that runs at the edge. As the PM for the team, you’ll drive the strategy to make it easier for manufacturers to deploy Tulip in the real-world and integrate it with their factory’s stack, including their third party systems, machines, sensors and devices. 

About you

• You have 5+ years of product management experience at a SaaS company; experience with IoT, hardware, or industrial protocols a plus.
• Strong technical background and excel at analytical thinking
• You have built products with deep product and UX design requirements
• Proven track record of taking ownership, initiative, and delivering results. You have worked cross-functionally on large projects with multiple engineering teams, including hardware and software
• Excellent written and verbal communicator. You can explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit (you're self-driven and you don’t need direction), an affinity for the fast-paced, changing environment of a start-up, a sense of humor, and get-it-done personality

What you’ll be doing

• Deeply understand the needs of users around connectivity and physical deployment of hardware and applications, ranging from end-users developing apps on Tulip, to administrators responsible for deployment and management of Tulip across entire organizations
• Define the strategy for accelerating time to value for Tulip’s hardware, integrations, and real-world deployments for both new and existing customers
• Own the roadmap and drive data-driven decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution in the face of ambiguity and complexity
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to build and successfully launch new products
• Build processes that will help our team and company continue to grow
