Job Summary:

We are looking for a Hardware Debug Engineer to debug and to support customer and other internal departments for solving computer system issues. In this role, you will work with other departments and provide solutions for the issues and product quality improvement. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Intel low level debugging. Experience using Intel Target Probe (ITP) tool is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Diagnose the root cause of computer system failure and isolate the components/failure nodes• Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies and provide remedy for catastrophic failure events• Motherboard power rails (sequences) timing measurement to improve product quality• Develop and publish test reports and communicate findings to other team members• Improve testing techniques/procedures for analyzing system failure data efficiently

Qualifications:• BS in Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years working experience• Must have experience with Intel CPUs and Chipset architecture• Familiar with Python programming languages and Linux OS• Familiarity with Intel debug tools such as ITP is a plus• Familiarity with key PC bus protocols (PCIE) will be an added advantage• Strong lab and debug skills are required, including experience working with and analyzing output from test equipment such as the ITP, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers
