As an Engineer for Hardware Design at Ossia, you will be responsible for developing the electrical design of next generation wireless power systems. This hands-on role requires basic knowledge in electrical circuit design involving digital and analog circuits utilizing components such as microcontrollers, memory IC's, power supply regulators, A/D and D/A converters.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with other engineers, schematic and bill-of-material (BOM) creation.
- Printed circuit board (PCB) design.
- Component selection.
- Design documentation
- Test procedure design and implementation.
- Significant lab work involving testing circuit boards including initial bring-up and debug.
- Working closely with other team members such as mechanical, RF, antenna, firmware, and test engineers.
- Assist in the integration and test of the final system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant hardware design experience, including product development
- Experienced in the design of printed circuit boards (PCBs) at frequencies of 2-10GHz.
- Strong knowledge writing python and shell scripts
- Experience with Altium 365 including managed library components, database libraries, multi-channel designs.
- A proven track record of taking products from concept through to volume production.
- Knowledge of the new product development process and best practices to create a quality design while working within schedule and cost constraints.
- Understanding of how to design for low cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills.
Education:
- BS and/or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.

Salary Range: 120-150K, plus bonus and equity
