As a Sr. Hardware Development Engineer for the Module Development Group in Micron Technology, Inc., you will work closely with PCB Design Teams to ensure we are providing innovative memory based board level products to the market! We are tasked with all aspects of producing a product from logical design through design package release, and PCBA validation! In addition, we are required to solve electrical and mechanical PCB and circuit design concerns, select components, maintain documentation to meet ISO Specifications and serve as domain guide.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble Logical design in schematic using Allegro based tools - circuit design and part selection
- Teach team members - layout designer, simulation engineer and lab - on projects scope of work to perform
- Collect project management documentation for compliance with ISO/TS requirements
- Communicate project information, issues and lessons learned
- Build and verify variants used for BOM creation
- Coordinate PCBA build with planning and manufacturing. Build PCBA Validation Test Plans.
- Review and approve validation data captured from the lab
- Establish and document test routines and procedures for the lab and DFMEA risk
- Act as a central point of contact (internal and external) for technical and project management questions
- Support internal/external customers as required
- Participate in industry task groups, DFMEA and technical meetings as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or ECE
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience
- Exposure to crafting and developing PCB/PCBA/IC products
- Experience with BOM generation
