Hardware Engineer

What you will do:

• Participate in all aspects from design to testing at component, board, and system level
• System level architecture definition and collaboration with firmware and mechanical teams
• Testing & hardware validation
• Launching products with overseas manufacturing partners
• Extend and maintain existing product lines
• Collaborate with remote software and firmware engineering teams
• Collaborate and mentor engineering teammates
• Other duties as assigned
• This is an in office position in Menlo Park, Ca

What you will have:

• 2-5 years of experience in/with developing new hardware projects
• Multiple battery powered, medium volume consumer electronics designs
• Excellent understanding of foundational EE concepts in analog, digital and RF domains
• Launched products with overseas manufacturing partners
• Experience in hardware prototype bring-up, debug, fault detection, and failure analysis
• Proficient in writing test software and scripts for test automation
• Project management skills to drive deliverables to schedules
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Previous startup experience
• Experience in/Passion for K-12 and/or higher education a plus
