Role Requirements

• Provide project estimates in terms of cost and duration
• Identify risks and provide mitigation plans for the project
• Tracking and reporting project status to management.
• Component selection, BOM creation (ensuring multiple sourced components), and cost estimation
• Electrical/Schematic design of embedded systems(you will work with a dedicated PCB layout engineer)
• Initiation of ECOs / DOs documenting the design in our PLM system
• Preparing for and conduction design reviews
• Creating test requirements and supporting a test engineer for your designs
• Ensuring products meet US, CA and EU government regulations
• Contribute to the innovation and intellectual properly creation within Engineering
• Recommend alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and / or procedures
• Validation of concepts and their correct implementation

Key Skills

• Altium Designer for schematic capture
• Arena PLM
•  Ability to handle multiple priorities and simultaneous work projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and handle work requests with a sense of urgency

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 8-10 years’ of progressively more complex experience in Engineering
