Hardware Engineer

Overview:

The hardware engineer will own the engineering of all PC and peripheral products. Responsible for influencing, designing and driving direction of new PC hardware and peripheral solutions for the Bank.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Testing and certifying new PC hardware and peripheral models
• Showcasing and presenting products to customers
• Managing the vendor relationships with numerous hardware vendors
• Research current hardware market trends
• Managing PC and peripheral life cycle
• Analysis of PC inventory
• Driver and firmware updates and life cycle management
• Engineering level troubleshooting

Education and Experience Required:

Combined minimum of 6 years' higher education and/or work experience in PC related engineering/support

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Minimum 6 years' professional experience in a technical engineering position

Advanced technical skills

Advanced troubleshooting skills

Advanced knowledge and advanced expertise in industry and/or vendor technologies

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong knowledge of PC technologies
