Use your advanced knowledge of hardware engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work with limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of Flight Control products by designing, testing and validating products from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Key Responsibilities• Perform design specification and verification review• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment• Track problem reports to closure• Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc)• Work with engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product compliance• Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance• Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical engineering knowledge and principles• Suggest enhancements to advance projects

YOU MUST HAVE• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering• Minimum of 3 years of Hardware development experience

WE VALUE• Good understanding of a variety of hardware engineering standards and specifications, especially DO-254 and DO-160• Knowledge of Flight Control products• Excellent computer literacy• Ability to focus on important information and identify key details• Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions• Clearly and concisely convey complex messages to a variety of audiences • Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts• Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done • Flexibility to work across global time zones• Ability to travel internationally for short periods if needed
