Job Description:

SimIS Inc seeks a Hardware Engineer II to provide Integrated Training Systems (ITS) Systems Engineering (SE) support for maritime Training Systems being developed in Virginia Beach, VA. The successful candidate will provide analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware in support of major shipboard systems.

Experience Required:

• Provides analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware for products.
• Develops test strategies, devices, and systems.
• Performs stress and performance tests on a variety of computer hardware including circuit boards, processors and wiring.
• Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of computer system design, computer programming and database design.
• Experience in CAD, computer languages, operating systems, circuit design, and system design is preferred.
