Hardware Integrator and Field Support, Co-packaged Optics
Job Description
NVIDIA seeks a highly skilled and motivated Co-Packaged Optics Test platform Integrator and field support Engineer to join our dynamic CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in silicon photonics testing platforms' integration and field support. The successful candidate will conduct optical tests, systems maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure our cutting-edge electro-optical testing platforms' reliability, performance, and functionality.
What you'll be doing:
- Participate in the development of testing platforms.
- Collaborate in the hands-on integration and bring up.
- Lead the test platform Verification and validation
- Participate in the transferring of the platform the production (documentation, procedures, troubleshooting)
- Optical testing: perform a variety of optical tests, including but not limited to optical power measurements, optical eye diagrams, spectral measurements, and polarization analysis, to evaluate the performance of transceiver modules.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate closely with design engineers, product developers, and manufacturing testing teams to ensure smooth integration and successful testing of co-packaged optics transceiver modules.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to test setups, equipment, or procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.

What we need to see
- Electrical Engineering or practical Mechanical, electronics, or HW engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in system integration and field support for complex systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize testing procedures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to the service of complex systems (such as wafer testers or Medical devices).
