We are actively seeking an entry-level Hardware Support Technician to join our growing, dynamic team. As the Hardware Support Technician, you will be responsible for collecting and reporting the hardware quality of our products.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent electrical/mechanical engineering graduate who will be given the chance to help impact our riders' experience and support the performance and quality of our Veo products. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field, have advanced skills in Microsoft Office, a high level of attention-to-detail and be a driven, hardworking individual.

*MUST reside in the Los Angeles, CA area to work at least 1-2 days at our office. Please do not apply if you do not reside locally to work on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the hardware issues from local markets by collecting and analyzing data
  • Collaborate with the hardware team to validate and deploy solution(s)
  • Gather data from our CMMS on vehicle performance/improvement and document findings to present to the team(s) subsequently
  • Manage ticket system and all the support documentation
  • Provide hardware-developing support including but not limited to testing, taking pictures, documentation, and shipping equipment.
  • Work with cross-functional teams for any technical issues or support (sales, marketing, customer support, and operations)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (BA in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline highly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to deliver results with minimal direction
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders
  • Reliable transportation (may travel 0-25% of the time within LA area)
