Be part of a multi-disciplinary Test and Measurement team in Wilton, Connecticut, TMF (Test and Measurement Facilities). The primary goal for TMF is risk mitigation through testing. The team approaches experimental design in its entirety, starting with helping internal customers identify the right risk to mitigate, to test design, build and integration, though execution and reporting. The team is a critical part of ASML's commitment to Quality and Customer focus.
This individual is responsible for the automation of measurement systems for TMF test activities, including sensor selection, data acquisition and data management. They will also design and integrate test stand controls, software solutions and mechatronic systems. To this end, they will own control system design, integration and support.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. ยง 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
- Design, implementation and support of automated measurement systems (e.g. sensor integration, data acquisition, data management, etc.)
- Design, implementation and support of test stand control (e.g. test procedures, machine, human safety, etc.)
- Design, integration and support of test stand mechatronic systems
- Creation and maintenance of system documentation
- Participate in overall system requirements definition for new test equipment
- Maintenance of TMF lab computers and software
- Participate in the subcontracting and realization of the test setup
- Design, develop and integrate measurement systems following best practices and applying data analytics
- Actively contribute to the testing and measurement competencies within ASML
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or (applied) physics or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Master's Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience
Experience
- 3+ years of experience with LabVIEW
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant multi-disciplinary technical work environment
- 3+ years of experience with the design, realization, execution and analysis of test setups on mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Proficient experience with MATLAB
- Preferred experience with plan and budget creation
- Preferred experience in XPC software and Minitab
- Preferred Weibull, HALT, HASS test experience and/or failure mode analysis, especially from a materials perspective

Other Information
- This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation
- A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to 2 days a week)

Essential Job Functions
The essential job functions for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Work in a fast-paced office environment, including working in a standing or seated position for long periods sometimes exceeding 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Commute to ASML's facility and report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent basis
- Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to finger, handle and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach and stretch
- Occasionally required to move around the campus
- Perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, computer keyboarding (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), filing, calculating and use of telephone or other handheld electronic devices, continuously sometimes exceeding 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Have a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
