Hardware Test Engineer

Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Hardware Test Engineer who will be responsible for the testing of avionics hardware, flight computers and software for our vehicles.

Requirements

Core responsibilities

• Establish test stands for hardware in the loop testing
• Develop and maintain simulations of our space vehicles
• Support testing on flight hardware
• Develop simulation environments and systems
• Support engine and hardware testing

Required

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Expert in C++
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with GNU, Cmake, and Git
• Experience with Labview, Python, DAQs, TCP/IP
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, USB

Ideal candidate

• Experience with Electronics wiring and soldering
• Design and build PCBs
• Experience with U-Boot environment and Linux device drivers
• 3D printing experience
