The Harvester works with a small team in a faced paced environment harvesting the daily batch of mature cannabis plants. The Harvester is also responsible for processing dried batches of cannabis flower and assisting with other tasks around the department to meet daily production goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING- Harvesting between 150-400 cannabis plants daily
- Working with a small team of 2-4 Harvesters
- Additional tasks: De-sticking, Trimming and other tasks in the Cure Room/Trim Room
- Adhering to production requirements and plant count goals
- Completes work in a timely manner to maintain the flow of production
- Working closely with Cure Room Supervisors to maintain the proper flow of production
- Cleaning personal equipment and maintaining an organized workspace
- Maintaining time and attendance as well as all other conduct related requirements at all times
- Following Parallel policies and procedures for daily operation to comply with state medical marijuana regulations
- All other duties as assigned
Required
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work within a team
- Positive attitude
- Adaptability
Preferred
- Experience in production and/or agriculture
- Light repetitive lifting/reaching
- Standing for extended periods of time (2hrs min/10hrs max)
- Squatting/kneeling
- Ability to work in warm (70-80 degrees) and bright (HPS/LED lights) flower rooms
- Ability to work in dark flower rooms (requires use of head lamp)
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Consistent hand eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity
- Are self-motivated; micro-managing isn’t fun for anyone
- Roll your sleeves up and do the work; strategy is important, but so is getting stuff done
- Can work fast and be flexible; our industry is always changing
- Play nice with others; we collaborate with each other a lot
- Think creatively; sometimes, the “traditional” solution isn’t the best one
